As you may be aware, I have an interest in folklore and urban legends. Not that I'm an expert, but I do find them interesting. Anyway, Snopes.com is a major site about urban legends, and covers an awful lot them. So much so that I think many people check there first off when they hear about a possible urban legend (kind of in the same way people automatically Google for stuff, or look things up on Wikipedia).
