Things have been rather busy recently. The main things have been CATS-related: updating the website, and preparing for the AGM.
I'm pleased with my progress with the site, as there was a lot of stuff that needed updating (having had very little done in the last 3-4 years). My aim was to get everything done by the AGM, and I certainly got the major bits done. I've still got a few bits to sort out, but overall, I'm happy with my progress. I even changed the site icons to the Nuvola set, which looks a lot nicer than the old ones. I had to modify one of the icons to get a suitable shows icon, but the rest are used as-is.
The AGM was last night, and although I lost a vote to be Chairman, I am still Secretary. Most of the committee has changed this year, and so there's all sorts of updates need doing to bits of paperwork. I'm working through it all at the moment, but keep remembering extra things.
Once the AGM aftermath is out of the way (hopefully in a week or so) I'll need to shift my attention to the Carnival. Although I've managed to wriggle out of doing all the programme design and layout (CorelDraw really confuses me!), I am still heading publicity and writing blurb about events for the programme. So I'll need to start getting on with all that soon.
And finally, I received my copy of Meet The Laugh-Out-Loud Cats today, complete with original drawing in the front. I love it!
